Mark J Brown

Mark’s design experience is broadened by time spent in the far east in his early career. He is an interior designer as well as an architect and since joining the practice in 2013 his drive and enthusiasm have seen him rise to become Managing Director. Mark has been responsible for the GDL interior design ethos, is currently a brand leader in the residential sector and has also designed several of our major architectural projects.
Mark is an accomplished all-round sportsman, having played football, cricket, badminton, billiards and snooker all to a high standard. He is a devotee of the Boro and Teesside’s signature dish-the parmo. His spare time is devoted to working-out, often with a pet Labrador in tow, and spending time with his young family.
