Project Information
GDL Architecture are currently working on the second phase of the Newcastle International Airport lounge extension, to provide a new VIP Lounge for outward bound passengers at the airport. The Lounge will be constructed above the new border hall at Level 1 which was completed by the practice in June 2018.
This project for Newcastle International Airport Lounge was unfortunately put on hold due to the impact of COVID 19. the shell was completed in 2023, with the interiors re-designed to become part of Aster & Thyme – A new premium Bar & restaurant which includes a new kitchen and bar, with a range of seating zones for passengers to enjoy eating, relaxing or working before their flights.
