Douglas began professional life as a technologist in a small architectural practice north of the border in Berwickshire where he still lives. He later worked for a large practice in Newcastle where he was involved in many important large scale projects. His technological expertise is vital to the firm and he is responsible for overseeing our constructional output.
Douglas studied music before embarking on a career in architecture. His knowledge and appreciation of jazz is encyclopaedic and he still performs as a professional musician
