One of three new community Football Hubs in Sunderland, the Ford Quarry project was delivered with Esh Construction for the Football Foundation, Sport England and Sunderland City Council.
The project at Ford Quarry includes an extension to the existing changing pavilion to provide changing facilities and new community social and coaching spaces. The external works provide improved parking and 3no new full size artificial grass pitches with floodlights and stadia seating.
Our work on the three Sunderland Football Foundation projects has allowed the practice to develop an understanding of the space planning and material specifications required to meet the needs of the client as well as Sport England and Football Foundation criteria.
