In conjunction with NIAL; GDL Architecture undertook studies to upgrade the Pier building; including departure gates, toilets and circulation spaces. GDL Architecture carried out a full logistical analysis of the existing arrangements before arriving at an integrated interior design exercise complementing the Airport’s brand values.
The first phase included the refurbishment of Departure Gates 21 & 22 which was completed in May 2019, and has established a template for future works.
