GDL Architecture are currently working on the second phase of the terminal extension, to provide a new VIP Lounge for outward bound passengers at the airport. The Lounge will be constructed above the new border hall at Level 1 which was completed by the practice in June 2018.
The lounge extension is currently on site, however work is on hold due to the impact of COVID 19. It will include a new kitchen and bar, with a range of seating zones for passengers to enjoy eating, relaxing or working before their flights.
